Bikeways Through Time
A research project undertaken to chronicle and digitize Oakland's bikeway development since 1976. The data was compiled by myself through researching historic city files and with the help of city employees with direct knowledge of certain projects. I created a database of the bikeways as they existed during each year which was joined to a GIS layer.
The data for this map was created with Microsoft Access and ArcGIS.
